Got a call from our customer service administrator, both tender and color appointments have been set. The next stage of the process are now set and in motion – as much as we are excited we’re trying to subdue it as there are still a lot of work to be done prior to the house going onto the site. Anyways, the appointments are as follows:
- Color Appointment – 1700 on October 4th, 2012
- Tender Review – 1330 on October 12th, 2012
- Tender Singing – TBA at this point
Henley is of course hoping that the tender would be signed on the same day as the review however we prefer to have a thorough read of the contract prior to blissfully wielding the ink from our pen to the bottom of every page. We might have to book in another appointment for the final signing.
At this point we have a good idea on what we want (Timber bifold doors, staged refrigerated cooling and heating, featured front door with slits of clear glass, etc). We are however still deciding on the colors and with the color appointment approaching there is definitely a lot of homework to be done prior. We are allocated 4 hours but ideally would like to have 30 minutes to review the document prior to signing. As far as color goes we have narrowed down the colors to White Watsonia to the ceilings, Warm Neutral to walls and either Tavern or Deep Bamboo to feature walls.
